Job Description Financial accountant part/full qualified 60K pro rata (6 month contract) Financial Accountant Our client one of the worlds leading reaserch companies is looking for a financial accountant who is part qualified or better to fill a 6 month contract based in their sandyford office. Please note 6 month contract with possible extension or permanent conversion available Main areas of responsibility * Preparation and submission of monthly reports to Group. * Preparation of monthly management accounts, by division. * Maconomy, Cartesis, Cognos, Micropay and Sage Payroll Maintenance. * CSO Returns ROI and NI. * Prepare CAPEX progress reports, Maintain Fixed Asset register (including annual audit of all significant assets). * Assistance with preparation of Annual Budget. * Supervision of all ledgers – nominal, debtors, creditors, payroll and costing. * Ensure VAT and PAYE/PRSI monthly returns are properly completed and returned on time. * Perform internal SOX audits to ensure ongoing compliance. * Ongoing balance sheet reconciliations. * Ad hoc projects Requirements • Qualified or part qualified accountant • Strong spreadsheet skills essential • Experience with MS Access an advantage • Team player All interested applicants should call Michael or Diarmuid on 00353 1 6472100 or mail in thier cv
