Vacancy –Shared Services Centre Director

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for driving the strategic development and tactical deployment of Bentley’s Shared Services Centre operations
- Responsible for evaluating, developing, communicating, implementing and maintaining policies, plans procedures and training, as well as assisting in the advancement of financial and performance objectives
- Leading a team of approximately 40 professional colleagues responsible for handling inbound customer service requests, processing new orders and contracts, making outbound follow up to renew contracts and promote sales and marketing campaigns, maintaining subscription contracts, issuing accurate billings for the underlying contract revenues, and credit and collections activities.
- You will proactively and extensively engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Contractual relationships for Bentley Systems product range, from single-license maintenance contracts to multi-site and multi-currency arrangements, to government contracts, to global enterprise-wide subscriptions (active account base exceeds 25,000 accounts with over 35,000 contracts).
- Reporting directly to the VP – Financial Operations interacting extensively with staff, managers and executives across all disciplines, notably Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, IT, and Legal.

Skills & Experience Required

- A minimum of 10+ years of increasing responsibilities in areas of Sales, Finance, and Contract management operations.
- A minimum of 5+ years of increasing revenue operations or generation responsibility in a global software company
- Experience with international operations and software industry expertise

- In-depth understanding of software sales and contract administration in a fast-paced global environment
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills in a geographically distributed large-team environment (30+ professionals)
- Demonstrated success designing, building and executing processes for efficient administration of operations, aligning policy, operations and technology
- Proven track record in successful system implementation and process improvement, and formal certification (such as Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent)
- Ability to recruit, upgrade, retain and motivate the team
- A collaborative management style that builds consensus among superiors, peers and subordinates, hands-on management to optimize effectiveness of the team
- A comfort with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Extensive CRM software experience, with specific SAP experience a plus
- Superior oral and written communication skills and a presence that communicates with ease at all organizational levels
- A “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality with a penchant for detail
- Creativity and flexibility to accommodate continuously evolving market strategies
- Presence in establishing strategy, policy and procedures both internally to the contracts function and externally as relevant to contract administration
- Fluency in English is required, other languages considered a plus
