Location: Nationwide

Job Profile

Our client is offering a unique opportunity to join a dynamic web-based business, specialising in the conference/event and hotel sector. A great opportunity for self-motivated, ambitious candidates to work either part-time or full-time, from home. You will generate sales through meeting with clients, mainly within the hotel sector and through lead generation with businesses in the conference/event sector.


Key Responsibilities
• Development of new sales leads for clients in the hotel and conference/event sector looking to advertise their businesses to conference/event organisers
• Generation of referrals and new contacts through excellent customer service and delivery of results for your clients
• Network effectively within the conference/event and hotel sector to generate introductions to companies looking to secure more business
• Account manage an existing base of customers, ensuring that annual renewals of advertising revenue is taking place
• Ensure the customer is your priority at all times
• Develop strong relationships with clients
• Demonstrate highest level of communication skills at all levels
• Generate weekly report to FACV on sales closed that week in order to generate payment/commission records
• Sign up any venues within your region to advertise on the website for an annual subscription fee, highlighting the benefits of being a client. A full list of target venues is available.
• You will be responsible for the account management of all venues in your allocated region. You will ensure that their details are correct on the website for all existing venues on the site and keep in regular contact with the venue regarding sales opportunities.
• Venues include hotels, conference centres, country houses, castles, team building venues, unique and quirky venues etc.
• Development of leads passed on from head office for your region for any conference and event bookings
Experience & Skills
• Minimum of 1-2 years successful sales experience
• Any previous experience in selling advertising would be an advantage
• Any prior experience in the hotel or conference/event sector would give you an edge in this role
• Must be sales focused with a very high level of customer service
• Proven ability to build relationships with customers, high level of professionalism
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally at all levels
• Computer literacy essential, excellent organisational skills required
• Must be enthusiastic, ambitious and results-driven with an eye for detail
• Determination and commitment, self-motivated
• Entrepreneurial flair and you will need to be driven and committed to maximising your income and the performance of your locality
• A can do attitude with high income aspiration and a constant desire for self- achievement
• Excellent time management, with the ability to plan and organise
• Fluency in English is essential
